Spin-Orbit Splittings in the Presence of Weak Binding

The 1p single-particle energies in neutron-rich nuclei around N∼ 20 suggest a smooth decrease in the separation of the 1p3/2-1p1/2 spin-orbit splittings as they approach zero binding. The behavior is well described by the orbits approaching the zero-binding threshold in a finite mean-field potential

Tidal Love numbers: from black holes to exotic physics

Tidal Love numbers describe the linear response of compact objects to external tidal perturbations, and they are found to vanish exactly for black holes within General Relativity. We discuss the robustness of this property when non-linearities in the theory are taken into account, and investigate

Unveiling Symmetry in High-Energy Scattering Through the Lens of Energy Correlators

At the Large Hadron Collider, high-energy scattering in Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) often results in the production of hundreds of particles. Traditionally, the analysis of such high multiplicity events has depended on methods like jet or event shape techniques. Recently, energy correlators
